I’ve tested several iPhone battery charger and here are the ones I preferred and why!

The best iPhone battery charger for you can be different than for me, depending on your need, when and where does you are charging your iPhone. I’ve been able to test different ones on my iPhone, and made reviews about the best of them to help you choosing the one that suits you the best. But if I have to name only one, I would choose the Belkin 30W USB-C charger.

Anker Nano 3

Anker Nano 3

Anker is a well-known brand making many different charging accessories for iPhones and other phones. Anker products are usually cheaper than other brands, but these are still great products.

I’ve been using many Anker chargers in my life, and I can only say that they are getting better and better.

This Anker Nano 3 is a really tiny charger that you will be able to bring everywhere. With 20W power, you will be able to charge at full speed for almost every iPhone, only the latest iPhones Pro allow a higher charging capacity than 20W.

If you want a cheap iPhone battery charger, you really want to go with this Anker Nano 3. But do not expect this charger to last forever.

Belkin 30W USB-C Wall charger

Belkin Wall Charger

Belkin is a brand certified by Apple, you can find some of their products directly on the Apple official online store. It means that their products are controlled by Apple, to ensure that they are fully compatible with iPhones.

Belkin chargers are definitely the best non-Apple iPhone batteries charger that you can find on the market. There are durable, fully compatible, and charging at maximum speed.

I personally use this BoostCharger iPhone charger for years now, and I really love it! It’s quite tiny so it fit well in any bags I bring with me. I did not have any issues with it since I bought it.

It can deliver 30W of power, which is more than the 27W that iPhone 14 Pro can handle, so you are sure to charge your iPhone at the maximum speed. You can also use it to charge your other Apple product batteries, even your Macbook.

Official Apple Wall Charger

Apple Official iPhone charger

I could not make this list of iPhone battery chargers without reviewing the official Apple iPhone charger. It’s the basic charger you would get while buying an iPhone before Apple decided to remove the charger from the package.

I've measurements about this Apple iPhone charger here.

It’s definitely a good iPhone charger, you won’t have any bad surprises by buying it. As the same as a lot of people, it’s the first iPhone charger that I’ve ever used, and it’s quite durable since I still have it!

Compared to others, I would say that the official Apple iPhone charger is not producing so much heat, which means that the charger is really well made and uses great components. But it only produces 20W of power, which is not enough to charge the latest iPhones Pro at full speed.

If you don’t want to take any risk or to be annoyed with a charger not working well, you should go with this official iPhone charger. You will be sure to take care of your iPhone battery health.

Let’s now see which wireless iPhone battery chargers are the best, with much information to help you choose the one that suits you.

Belkin BoostCharge Pro - Portable Wireless Charger Pad

Belkin iPhone Wireless Charger MagSafe compatible

Another charger from Belkin, a wireless charger this time. It’s my personal favorite iPhone battery wireless charger, it’s a very simple one but works perfectly well.

Once again, as Belkin has been certified by Apple, MagSafe works really well on this wireless charger, it will easily align perfectly with your iPhone’s battery magnet, to ensure wireless charging at maximum speed with the 15W power this charger delivers.

It’s very tiny and will fit in every pocket, while it still has a 2-meter-long USB-C cable. You will also be able to incline your iPhone while using this iPhone charger to watch videos while charging.

Belkin 2-in-1 Wireless charger stand

iphone_battery_belkin_charger_stand

Wireless charging is good, but to me, it does even better while using a wireless charger stand. Putting your phone on charge on your desk next to your bed by simply placing it on the charger stand is very satisfying.

This Belking wireless charger stand for iPhone batteries is my favorite, I even have two of them. One at home and another one on my desk. It charges my iPhone very fast and it’s quite easy to use. The base is heavy enough to stay in place when I remove my iPhone.

It’s a 2-in-1 wireless charger, so I can also charge my AirPods on it. I definitely recommend this product, everyone should have at least one on his desk.

Anker 3-in-1 Cube Wireless charger stand

iphone_battery_anker_charger_stand

The last of this iPhone battery charger review list, but not the least. It’s built by Anker and is another wireless charger stand, but this time a 3-in-1 charger, so you can charge your iPhone, your AppleWatch, and your AirPods at the same time.

This Anker charger’s design comes from the future, it’s a tiny cube, but still heavy enough to be able to remove your iPhone easily once the battery is fully charged.

One of my friend has it and let me try it for a few days, I can say that I’ve been really well surprised about how well made this product seems to be. I can only recommend it!

It’s a 15W charger, MagSafe compatible, especially made for iPhones, therefore this one charges your iPhone at full speed.

FAQs

What is a good iPhone battery charger?

A good iPhone charger for me is not necessarily the same than for you. You must think about how you use it, where and when does you are charging your iPhone.

Do you want to bring this new charger everywhere with you? Or will it stay on your desk or next to your bed? Do you have several Apple products to charge? All of this will change the answer to the question.

Still, there are a few things that make a charger a good one:

  • Durable
  • Fast charging
  • USB-C
  • Tiny
  • Multiple devices charging

Can a bad charger cause damage to my iPhone’s battery?

Yes, a bad charger could potentially damage your iPhone, such as battery swelling, but hopefully Apple added security to prevent damage.

Before charging, your iPhone will first check if the current and voltage can be accepted to charge the battery. Only once it knows it’s ok, your iPhone will start charging.

But still, it’s better to avoid choosing a random charger, to ensure you won’t damage anything on your iPhone.

By choosing a charger certified by Apple, you are sure that no damage will be caused to your iPhone’s battery while charging.

Does fast charger reduce iPhone’s battery health?

Fast charging does reduce your iPhone’s battery health, but only a little bit. I won’t enter into details here, but charging at normal speed is better for your iPhone’s battery health.

But there are many more important factors that will affect more how long your iPhone battery last than fast charging.

You can enable the low power mode to charge faster your iPhone but still receive notifications.

How can I tell if my iPhone is “fast charging”?

There is no official way to know if your iPhone is fast charging, the information is not displayed anywhere on your iPhone.

You can still know if your iPhone is fast charging by checking if there is any delay between when you plug in the cable and when your iPhone is starting to charge.

If your iPhone starts to charge immediately after plugging in the charger cable, then it is normal charging. But if you can see a delay, only one second is enough, then it means that your iPhone is fast charging.

How can I prolong the life of my Apple iPhone charger?

A charger obviously won’t last forever, here are a few things you can do to help prolong your iPhone’s battery charger:

  • Unplug the charger once your iPhone is fully charged. Do not let your charger plugged overnight.
  • Do not use unconventional electricity network. Be sure that the current and voltage provided correspond to what the charger can accept, otherwise it will cause damage to the charger.
